On 9th, 10th and 11th of November I'm presenting at the Natural Phenomena Conference 2018 organised by the Nature Education Network in Northland, New Zealand. My contribution will be on how to design and facilitate transformative outdoor experiences. This includes educational and therapeutic experiences.
I was asked to present when Janey Pares, who I used to work with at Schumacher College recommended me to the organisers two years ago. In a curious twist, it turned out that one of the organising committee was Anna Gentry. Anna was a student of mine from The Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre from over 20 years ago! Amazing how these connections emerge.
As the first event I will have attended since relocating to New Zealand, I am excited to meet some new people and very interested to see if I come across anyone I already know from way back!
