Curriculum Development & Staff Training
Since 2011, I have been providing staff training and programme development support to the Contemporary Performance Practice (CCP) team at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
The main focus of this work has been around developing the idea of the ‘ecocentric’ artist in performance. This has led to supporting a complete redesign of the CCP’s undergraduate programme and the development of a new Masters course planned for 2019.
The central theme of this work is that performance should be about creating social change and that given the current ecological challenges we face, this change should be towards sustainability.
